+This weapon is a spiked mace or a so called “holy water sprinkler”. Spiked maces were the weapons of farmers and have been used against cavalry in the Pagan War (1525) up to the 18th century. As a derivative from the threshing flail, spiked maces could be found in a lot of variations. Different spiked maces are exhibited as part of the “Baumann Foundation” in the celebration hall and the dormitory.
