Nach Ludolph von Sachsen soll er Jesus “simillimus” (Latein für “höchst ähnlich”) gewesen sein, weswegen Judas bei der Gefangennahme seinen Meister küsste, damit die Häscher ihn nicht mit Jakobus verwechselten.
