Diese Tafel zeigt Jesus auf einem einfachen Sockel, unter Hohn und Spott wird er als der König der Juden mit der Dornenkrone gekrönt. Als Szepter wird ihm ein Schilfrohr gereicht. Mithilfe eines Stockes und eines Knüppels wird die Krone fest auf den Kopf Jesu gedrückt.

This Panel shows Jesus sitting on a simple socket. While being scorned and taunted he is coronated as the King of Jews with a crown of thorns. As a scepter he is given a cane from reed. With the aid of a long stick and a cudgel the crown is pressed firmly on the head of Jesus.
