In der rechten Hand des Petrus befindet sich ein sogenannter “Falchion”. In Anlehnung an die dargestellte Szene wird dieser Schwerttyp im deutschsprachigen Raum auch Malchus genannt. Das gezeigte 3D-Modell ist ein solcher Malchus und Teil der Stiftung Baumann. Er ist im Dormitorium im I. OG. ausgestellt.

In his right hand Saint Peter carries a so called “Falchion”. Borrowing from this scene, that type of weapon is called Malchus in german speaking regions. The shown 3D-Model is such a Malchus and part of the “Stiftung Baumann”. It is exhibited at the Dormitorium on the first floor.
